Google might expand its Call Notes for Pixel 9 into a two-in-one feature

Google might be updating its already existing Call Notes with a handy feature.

This year, Google launched its Pixel 9 smartphone lineup, which features several new tools. One of which is Call Notes.

The Call Notes tool records phone calls and then transcribes them to provide users with summaries of their conversations.

The main advantage of the tool is it can help in cases when a person needs to get details such as phone numbers or addresses without having to write them down during a call.

It’s been reported that a code version has been found in the Google Phone app, suggesting that Call Notes could get a new AI-powered feature.

The new feature appears to allow users to create to-do lists based on the information provided during a phone call.

For those who are concerned about their privacy, the new feature would be as secure as Call Notes, which works locally, meaning that no data is shared outside the user’s phone.

The details also reveal that users would be able to copy, share, and review their Call to-do list.

Google released its latest smartphones in August 2024. The new Pixel 9 devices were equipped with features that allow users to make call notes, find relevant information in screenshots, generate images, and send emergency messages without cellular service.
