Need a break room, media lounge, or a creative studio? LG says you can have it in the comfort of your vehicle.
The company has found a way to bring its AI Home solutions to mobility spaces by introducing its “Lifestyle Solution for Mobility” concept vehicle, which is powered by the LG Mobility Experience (MX) platform.
LG adapted its appliance hardware and AI technologies for use in vehicle cabins, which can then be transformed into a media lounge or a creative studio.
The MX platform was created according to auto industry trends and customer preferences, which suggests that users are leaning towards it being much more personalized to ensure maximum comfort.
LG’s latest platform has a dual-cabin design that includes a driver’s cabin and a “rear customizable experience space.”
The space can then be divided into “multifunctional zones” or changed into “hyper-personalized” spaces such as a creator studio, zones for relaxation or hobby, or a business lounge.
The company says that users can equip the rear cabin with numerous appliances for customized experiences.
The company’s MX platform is powered by LG’s ThinkQ ON, which controls all LG appliances and devices. It allows users to set preferred conditions in the vehicle and schedule various services, such as ordering food and beverages or booking a hotel.
LG’s MX platform will be offered as a subscription service.
Those interested in the platform can explore it during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025, which will be held in Las Vegas from January 7th to 10th.
