
Buyers in the US won’t have to wait long to purchase the company’s latest devices.
Motorola has announced its 2025 Moto G smartphone line, which includes two budget-friendly smartphone options, Moto G and Moto G Power.
Motorola’s latest smartphone series includes a high brightness mode of 1000 nits for clear visibility and a 120 Hz refresh rate for gaming, streaming, scrolling, and more.
Both smartphones come equipped with enhanced audio experience due to Bass Boost technology and Hi-Res Audio support and offer 5G connectivity.
The Moto G Power with a 6.8-inch display is referred to as a device “built to last” with its 5000 mAh battery that can hold a whole day of intense use.
The smartphone includes a 50MP camera system with an 8MP ultrawide and macrovision lens and a 16MP front camera. The smartphone’s camera was created to take pictures in various light conditions with its ambient light sensor, optical image stabilization (OIS), and Quad Pixel technology used to improve picture quality.
The Moto G Power, which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, was created to work under various conditions. According to the company, it can withstand a fall from almost four feet, temperatures ranging from -4°F to 140°F, and high humidity levels up to 95%.
With IP68 & IP69 underwater protection index, the smartphone is also water-resistant against high-pressure liquids.
The Moto G smartphone has a slightly smaller 6.7-inch display and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is covered with Gorilla Glass 3, which protects the device from scratches and falls.
The smartphone has a water-repellent IP52 rating, meaning that it's protected against water splashes but can’t be fully immersed in water.
Priced at $200 in the US, Moto G will be available for online purchase starting January 30th, with in-store availability in the upcoming months.
The $300 Moto G Power will be available online on February 6th and in physical stores in the upcoming months.
