An Indian wearables company has made an impressive debut at CES 2025 with its Luna Ring 2.0.
During this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the company revealed the second-generation Luna Ring, which will be available for sale in spring.
Like its previous model, the new device provides basic health parameters like sleep tracking, temperature, and heart rate monitoring. The company’s second-generation ring, powered by 2.0 AI, will also give users free coaching and diet plans.
The ring will also continue to work without a subscription.
One of the more significant changes with the Luna Ring Gen 2 is that it will also include a power bank charger case, which provides a 30-day battery backup life.
Noise, the company that created the smart ring, is a wearables brand specializing in smartwatches. In the last three and a half years, it has sold over 40 million devices.
What made them shift their focus to smart rings? One of the company’s co-founders shared that they rely on their consumers for insights.
One aspect they learned is that users would prefer a differently shaped wearable that wouldn’t feel so uncomfortable when sleeping but still be able to show all the important analytics.
Now, the company is ready to provide users with an improved product, including a case that can charge the ring up to eight times. The ring itself can last from five to nine days without being charged.
The new ring is expected to be released in March with a price similar to the already existing Luna Ring, which currently costs $300.
