Samsung users in the US will soon be able to upgrade their devices to the latest Galaxy A series smartphone and fitness tracker.
Samsung has announced the US availability of its Galaxy A16 5G smartphone and Galaxy Fit3 fitness tracker.
The Galaxy A16 5G is the latest addition to Samsung’s A series lineup. The new smartphone is reported to be thinner, with slimmer bezels and redesigned side frames.
The device is equipped with a 6.7″ FHD+ Super AMOLED display, showing vivid colors and clear images, suitable for gaming and watching videos.
The smartphone also includes a camera with a 50MP main sensor, 5MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro lens, and a 13MP front camera, which allows for detailed pictures.
And an Exynos 1330 processor and a 5000mAh battery with 25W Super-Fast Charging capability promise high-quality performance.
The Galaxy A16 5G also includes Samsung Knox Vault for personal information protection, six generations of One UI and Android OS upgrades, and six years of security updates.
Samsung’s fitness tracker, the Galaxy Fit3, has an aluminum body and a 1.6-inch display, which is 45% wider than its predecessor.
The tracker can hold up to 13 days on a single charge.
Galaxy Fit3 can track sleep, detect snoring, and monitor blood oxygen levels, heart rate, and stress levels, providing overall insights into a user’s health.
The device is also equipped with security features such as fall detection and Emergency SOS.
The Galaxy A16 5G costs $200, while the Galaxy Fit3 tracker costs $60. The latest devices will be available for purchase in the US starting January 9th, 2025.
