MrBeast collaborates with Samsung to test out Galaxy Ring and Z Flip 6

YouTubers were given the latest Samsung devices in an attempt to win a million dollars for their subscribers.

While smart rings are on the rise right now, many are wondering whether they live up to the hype. One of the most common ways to find out their capabilities is by watching video reviews, especially if they’re presented in an engaging way.

Recently, American YouTuber MrBeast released a video in which “50 of the world’s biggest content creators” were challenged to compete with each other by performing various tasks to win a prize of $1,000,000.

The video from YouTube’s most subscribed creator featured Samsung’s latest devices, including the Samsung Z Flip 6 and Samsung Galaxy Ring.

The rules of the game indicated that after a number of challenges, the contestant who stays until the end of the game wins one million dollars for their subscribers.

How were the Samsung devices integrated into this? The ring helped the content creators track their heart rate, which was visible on Samsung’s latest phone model while they engaged in various physical activities.

As of right now, the video has gained more than 117,000,000 views.

Considering the collaboration between MrBeast and Samsung, it didn’t surprise anyone when Samsung was called “the Official Smartphone Partner of MrBeast.” However, some users noticed that the content creator has been seen using Apple products and was even called a fan of the iPhone.

One Reddit user uploaded a screenshot of MrBeast showing him taking a picture with an iPhone, saying: “Even though a main sponsor of Mrbeast is Samsung he still uses an iPhone.” This post started a discussion online with some explaining that while the creator promotes Samsung, it's not indicated that he has to use the brand’s devices in his daily life.

“If you've ever seen literally any commercial ever, chances are the people acting in the commercial, don't actually use the advertised product in their daily life. It's not like he has a contract forcing him to use Samsung. Plus, it's a well-known fact that he loves Steve Jobs,” shared one Redditor.

Many users and MrBeast fans also pointed out that he favors Apple products: “I mean, he has never said he would switch to iPhone. Just that Today’s video is sponsored by Samsung and their new…insert random phone,” noted another Reddit user.
