The phone is equipped with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage and is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.

The Special Edition smartphone cover screen is 6.5 inches and has an 8-inch inner display, making it the phone with the widest large screen in the Galaxy Z Fold series.

The new device is also the first foldable that has a 200-megapixel camera.

When it comes to design, the smartphone comes in a “Black Shadow” color with a straight-line pattern.

The company shared the upcoming launch of the Galaxy Z Fold SE through an invite video released only in Samsung’s Korean newsroom.

The release prompted a discussion online, with many people wondering if the latest device would be sold worldwide. However, it's been speculated that the smartphone will only be available in Korea and China.

“Please make a global version, I’m really hyped and want to buy and try a real foldable,” wrote one user in the video comment section.

“I was planning to get the Z Fold 6, but then I heard a Special edition was going to be launched soon, so I waited. Word is that it's going to be available in Korea and China only, so that's disappointing,” shared another user online.

The device will be released on October 25th in South Korea and will be priced at around $2000 (2,789,600 won).

With no confirmed information about the smartphone’s availability in other countries, Cybernews has reached out to the company for comment on the situation and will update with a response.
