Samsung gifts its special edition Galaxy Z Flip 6 to Olympians

The special edition Samsung Galaxy Z Flip phones come fully equipped with all the features users need.

With the ongoing Olympic craze, Samsung has started supplying its special edition Galaxy Z Flip 6 smartphone, which was created for the athletes and participants of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, taking place in Paris, France.

Almost 17,000 athletes and other members began receiving these limited-edition devices courtesy of Samsung, an Olympic partner for over 25 years.

The special edition phone was created just for the Olympic Games and is not available on the market.

The Olympic Edition phone comes in a yellow colorway and has Olympic rings and Paralympic Agitos, a symbol of the Paralympic games, in gold. Each phone comes with a specially made flipsuit case made of Venezia leather.

Each device is already equipped with an eSIM of 100GB 5G data and two years of Samsung's international warranty.

"To keep track of the latest Games-time schedules and travel around the Olympic venues with ease, several official International Olympic Committee (IOC) apps such as Athlete 365,6 Olympic Shop, Paris 2024, Transport Accred App, and IOC hotline will be pre-loaded," the company shared.

In regards to other smartphone specifications, the device is equipped with Galaxy AI, which should allow for easy communication with its integrated live translation of calls, an interpreter, and composer features.

This occasion also marks the first time Samsung's latest device has been presented to athletes before its official market launch.
