Spotify is experiencing an outage, making music streaming almost impossible in the UK, the United States, and parts of Europe.
Spotify users have reported via Downdetector that the music streaming service is experiencing outages across the UK, the US, and Europe.
Cybernews was unable to access Spotify at around 14:25 (GMT+1) today, and many other users across the world are also experiencing issues.
Downdetector reports that over 13,000 users in the US are experiencing issues, with 98% of users facing problems with the app.
In the UK, almost 2,000 people have reported issues with Spotify, as 78% of people said there were problems with the app, while others reported server issues.
Whether this is a part of a wider problem like the Cloudflare and Amazon Web Services outages remains unclear.
Cybernews will continue to update the article with more information as it arises.
Spotify outage reports continue to soar
Users in the US and UK continue to report issues via Downdetector as the outage rages on.
Around 22,000 users in the US have reported problems with the app, alongside the inability to log in to the platform.
Almost 9,000 UK users are reporting issues with Spotify, with many users complaining that they're having issues with both the app and Spotify's website.
Spotify back online?
Spotify seems to be back online as Cybernews was able to access the app without issue after reloading.
However, reports on Downdetector continue to soar, with over 33,000 users in the US and nearly 10,000 users in the UK reporting problems with Spotify.
The comments from users seem to suggest that the problem isn't resolved in the US or the US.
Spotify's X account posted to say that the team are "aware of some issues right now and are checking them out."
"I'm paying too much for this," Spotify users furious
Spotify users have taken to X to vent their frustrations surrounding the latest Spotify outage.
One user complained that songs start and then cut out within 10 seconds. "I'm paying too much for this not to work," the user complained.
"Can you hurry up, I am sitting here alone with my thoughts," another X user said.
Another user posted a GIF of Kermit the Frog holding a machine gun with the caption, "you better figure it out quick."
While others complained that they were right in the middle of a "jamming session," others complained that the outage was messing up their workout.
"Hurry, I'm in the gym right now, wtf," said one disgruntled Spotify user.
