How to watch Happy’s Place from abroad with a VPN
If you are a US viewer traveling abroad, Peacock may not work the same way it does at home because streaming access is often limited by region. A VPN can help by routing your connection through a US server, which gives your device a US IP address. This is useful if you want to access your usual Peacock account while outside the US.
You still need a valid Peacock subscription to watch Happy’s Place Season 3. A VPN does not make paid content free, and Peacock or other streaming platforms can still block VPN traffic.
- Choose a reliable VPN. We recommend NordVPN for streaming because it has US server options and apps for major devices, including laptops, phones, tablets, and supported streaming devices. For more comparisons, our guide to the best VPNs for streaming explains what matters most for speed, device support, and stable streaming access.
- Install the VPN app. Download the VPN on the device you plan to use for Peacock. This can be a laptop, phone, tablet, Fire TV device, Android TV device, Apple TV, or another compatible setup.
- Connect to a US server. Open the VPN app and choose a server in the United States. This gives your connection a US IP address, which is what Peacock expects for US-based access.
- Open Peacock. Go to Peacock in your browser or app and sign in with your account. If the site or app does not load properly, try switching to another US server, clearing cookies, or restarting the app.
- Find Happy’s Place. Search for Happy’s Place, choose the available episode or season, and start watching. Keep in mind that streaming platforms can still block VPN traffic, so access is never guaranteed.
Best VPNs to watch Happy’s Place
A VPN is most useful for Happy’s Place if you are a US viewer traveling abroad and want to access your usual Peacock account. Since Peacock is a US streaming service, prioritize VPNs with US servers, reliable streaming performance, and apps for the device you plan to use to watch. Keep in mind that you still need a valid Peacock subscription, and Peacock can still block some VPN traffic.
- NordVPN - best overall for streaming. NordVPN is the best pick for most Happy’s Place viewers because it has US server options, apps for major devices, Smart DNS, and router setup options. It also supports Fire TV through the Amazon Appstore, which is useful if you watch Peacock on a streaming stick. It supports Fire TV devices running Fire OS 7 and above, offers an Android TV app, and provides streaming-device setup guidance for users watching away from home. It can work well for viewers who want to access their usual Peacock account outside the US without adding too much device setup complexity. Read our Proton VPN review to compare its features.
Can you watch Happy’s Place Season 3 for free?
In the US, Happy’s Place Season 3 airs on NBC, but online access usually depends on your TV setup or a paid streaming service. Peacock’s current plans are paid, starting with Peacock Select at $8.99/month.
Australia appears to have the clearest free streaming option. 7plus has a Happy’s Place page, and JustWatch Australia lists the show as streaming on 7plus for free with ads. However, Season 3’s exact Australian release timing has not been verified, so check 7plus for the latest available episodes.
Avoid unofficial streaming sites. They often host unsafe or pirated streams, and they are not needed when official platforms such as NBC, Peacock, CTV, Crave, and 7plus are available in their respective regions.
How to watch Happy’s Place on different devices
Peacock supports most major streaming devices, which makes it the most flexible option for US viewers. You can watch through supported browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari, or through mobile devices running Android 7.0+ or iOS 16+.
On TVs and streaming sticks, Peacock supports Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV HD 4th generation or above, Chromecast, Google TV, LG TVs with webOS 3.5 or above, Samsung Smart TVs from 2017 or later, VIZIO SmartCast TVs, Roku devices, PlayStation, and Xbox.
If you are using a VPN, device choice matters. Fire TV, Android TV, and Apple TV are usually easier for VPN streaming than region-locked smart TV app stores. If your smart TV does not support a VPN app, use a streaming stick, cast from a VPN-protected phone or laptop, or set up the VPN on a compatible router.
