OnePlus launches Android-powered OnePlus Pad 3 tablet

The Chinese tech manufacturer OnePlus has introduced the OnePlus Pad 3. The brand-new tablet will go on sale for €599 starting June 12th.

The OnePlus Pad 3 has a larger display than its predecessor. It’s 13.2 inches in diameter, with a resolution of 3392 by 2400 pixels and a density of 315 pixels per inch. Its refresh rate is 144 Hz, and its peak brightness is 900 nits, making this tablet ideal for both entertainment and productivity.

The OnePlus Pad 3 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite octa-core processor, which can deliver clocking speeds of up to 4.32GHz, and an Adreno 830 GPU. The tablet is packed with either 12GB or 16GB of RAM, and 256GB or 512GB of non-expendable UFS 4.0 internal storage.

The lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 12,140mAh and can be charged with 80W with a SuperVooc charger. OnePlus claims that the tablet can then be charged from 0 to 100 percent within 92 minutes. Without a SuperVooc charger, the tablet charges a maximum of 18W or 30W, depending on the type of charger. The battery should be good for a battery life of up to 18 hours when playing videos.

OnePlus has added two extra speakers, for a total of eight, including four woofers and four tweeters. Just like before, the speakers support Holo Audio, OnePlus’ variant of Spatial Audio.

The tablet runs on Android 15 with an OxygenOS 15 skin on top. OnePlus promises three years of Android upgrades and six years of security updates. Furthermore, the operating system is equipped with Open Canvas, a feature that enables users to open up to three tabs simultaneously, and a software feature called Dynamic Scaling. This should automatically be better adapted to tablet image ratios.

The sale of the OnePlus Pad 3 tablet starts next week, on June 12th, starting at €599. There’s only one color option called Storm Blue.
