Google may drop its latest devices at the end of this summer

Better than the Pixel 9 series?

Google is expected to launch its new Pixel hardware on August 20th in New York.

Google’s new smartphone series may include the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. The company should also release the Google Pixel Watch 4 for wearables.

While the price of the new devices is not known yet, it’s expected to be cheaper than Samsung’s latest foldable.

It’s been reported that the Pixel fold model should be launched a few weeks after Samsung revealed its Galaxy Z Fold series, according to Bloomberg.

Google’s new products are expected to be similar to the Pixel 9 series but include upgraded processors and slightly changed hardware.

The new devices will reportedly feature Google’s in-house Tensor G5 processor, which may be manufactured by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., replacing Samsung as Google’s chip maker.

When it comes to functionality, the devices are expected to have new features, powered by Gemini. All of the smartphones should run on Android 16 and include a new user experience (UX) that the company announced during the annual developer conference back in May.
