The best Google Pixel “superfans” can join the company in creating new devices

A limited number of Google “superfans” with the most knowledge and insights will be the first to see what the company has been developing.
Google is entrusting its Pixel “superfans” with an important task: testing the company’s next smartphone before its official launch.
The company has invited those who are extremely interested in Google Pixel products to enroll in its Pixel Superfans program. Through this program, they’re invited to special events and experiences, receive discounts and gifts, interact with other fans, and receive information from Google team members.
It seems that the company is ready to extend these perks by allowing some of its superfans to participate in future smartphone development.
Google will select 15 people from its superfan community to test its yet-to-be-released Pixel devices, reports Bloomberg, referring to this specific program as the “Trusted Tester Program.”
Before entering beta testing, the lucky group will have to sign a non-disclosure agreement and keep the unreleased hardware in special protective cases.
It’s not yet sure when the selected testers will receive the test products, but it’s been speculated that it could be sometime during the spring.
The idea behind the “Trusted Tester Program” is to gather feedback from users while the smartphone is still being developed, essentially making it more user-friendly.
For this reason, Google will also review candidate submissions based on how perceptive and passionate they are about Google Pixel products.
It’s been rumored that the company might release its future smartphone in August 2026. Google launched its upgraded products, including the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold, at the beginning of October.
