Congress pushes UFO disclosure as Grusch escalates alien claims

Bipartisan lawmakers joined UFO whistleblowers and researchers on Capitol Hill on June 8th, with David Grusch in particular pushing for more transparent and robust disclosure.

Key takeaways:

The event focused on government transparency around UAPs and repeated claims by Grusch, a former US Air Force officer who considers himself a UFO whistleblower, that officials possess knowledge of non-human intelligence.

Grusch also spoke of the frustration of institutional repression of the UFO question, arguing that “many of the president's team have been kept in the dark by high ego, politically appointed actors.”

He went as far as to say that there are a multitude of reasons why concealment had occurred over the decades: embarrassment, hiding funds, criminal activity, and withholding basic information about scientific information about the universe, deeming it “unlawful classification.”

As he has done on previous occasions, Grusch spoke of the US legacy program – an alleged secretive craft retrieval program, from which reverse-engineering is claimed to have taken place, “such as the recovered vehicles and the associated biological material.”

What’s more, when prompted by a reporter about the multiple species of alien life, Grusch answered: “It’s a continuum from corporeal bipedal type life to what I would consider as like sentient plasmoid life, but there are several that the US government is aware of.”

By “corporeal,” Grusch means a physical and tangible body, and with “bipedal,” that’s walking on two legs. This could well be the “grey alien” type of extraterrestrial commonly talked about in the UFO community.

Grusch, a former intelligence officer and US Air Force combat veteran, stood alongside other whistleblowers – such as Congressmen Eric Burlison and Tim Burchett, as well as investigative filmmaker James Fox.

Other highlights from the Capitol Hill meeting included lawmakers calling for a broader declassification effort, with Representative Anna Paulina Luna pushing for whistleblower immunity, along with Burchett responding to reporters’ questions about the missing General Neil McCasland by rebutting: "Y'all are the media. You'll figure it out."
