“No words – just knowing:” two military UFO witnesses speak out on the same day

Two former military witnesses went public on the same day via separate podcasts to describe UFO experiences, despite them happening decades apart.

John Seir, of the British Royal Navy, and Richard Bar, a US Air Force Security Guard, both say they remained silent for decades out of fear, secrecy, and uncertainty.

The content, as revealed on Cristina Gomez’s podcast UFO News, was explored with nuance as Gomez sought clarity amid an enigmatic situation.

Cybernews was also keen to get to the bottom of this.

The British Royal Navy Sailor account

John Seir was standing on the bridge of a British warship during a routine night watch sometime around 1980 (exact year not given), monitoring radar and navigation equipment to ensure the ship stayed on course.

Conditions were dark and clear enough for radar to pick up unusual activity, but visibility at sea was limited. Soon, something radiant emerged, seemingly out of nowhere.

It looked like a star, and then there was a disc in the middle of it, and it was really bright, and it was shining light on the seat. I was just stood there looking at it. Wow!

revealed Seir.

“There was something solid that the radar was picking up,” he continued, speaking out 45 years after the event. But what also surprised him was how the skipper (ship's captain) looked on nonchalantly, his calm reaction suggesting prior exposure.

“The first thing I thought was that you’d seen them before,” observed Seir.

Notably, the skipper asked the pilots to confirm what they had witnessed, and the lead pilot confirmed that it was indeed a UFO.

As fighter jets at the scene scrambled on in bewilderment, the pilots reportedly confirmed it was an unidentified object. The object departed rapidly, leaving a zipping vapor trail, with no sound reported.

Seir claims a sensation of the crew being scanned mentally. As he described, “It was like a video call placed directly into my mind. No words, not any language, just knowing.”

Though nothing was communicated verbally, the message he understood from the extraterrestrials was, “We are your children… from the sea and sky.” Quite strikingly, in the interview was how a cancer diagnosis changed Seir’s perspective on speaking out.

“I just wanted to say what I saw,” shared Seir, suggesting he had been holding back over the years.

US Air Force Guard’s sequence of events

Sixteen years previously, in 1964, on a foggy night in September, Richard Bar was alone on duty, guarding a nuclear missile installation at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. Vandenberg was a testing ground for the American nuclear arsenal at the height of the Cold War tensions. The site has a history of UAP-related sightings stretching back decades.

Visibility on the night was only about 30 to 40 ft, and in the early hours of 2 a.m., he saw a 5’10” ish humanoid figure moving through the fog, wearing what looked like a trench coat. Forcibly, his mind became taken over by the being, and in defense, “I tried to pull my pistol… my arm was paralyzed.”

Bar claims he then suffered a loss of consciousness and woke up inside a circular metallic room. As with the non-verbal communication described by Seir: “It was not words – you just knew what it wanted.”

Bar reports seeing the missile site from above through a transparent floor and describes four beings with large heads and eyes. He tried to scream but couldn’t make a sound. Bar backed away into his shack and blacked out. When he came round, he was on his knees.

The being communicated without words for Bar to look through the transparent circle on the ground. He saw a truck arrive at a nearby missile site, with a guard checking the driver. When he raised his eyes, he saw figures sitting opposite him, with proportions similar to a baby.

When he came to his senses again, he was lying on the ground of the guard shack, with a being sitting next to him and cradling his head in its lap, communicating remorse. The alien told Bar that they needed to access the nuclear electronics and that he himself was an obstacle. The bigger claim, though, was: “They needed to stop these missiles from launching. They were trying to get the data on how to do their task, and what was certain was that they weren’t going to allow these missiles to be launched. They weren’t allowing us to go to nuclear war.”

The similarities explained

As presenter Cristina Gomez showed on an episode of UFO News, both witnesses describe non-verbal “knowledge transfer” communication.

Despite approximately 16 years between the two incidents, the parallel quotes of Seir: “No words – just knowing,” and Bar: “You just knew what it wanted,” and both claiming that memories surfaced years later or gradually, are coincidental, to say the least.

It’s also tied in that both incidents were connected to military/nuclear environments, and that they kept their experiences secret for decades before speaking. And when the modern UAP community begins speaking among themselves and finds such historical coequals, it adds an extra layer of alien-shrouded mystery to the Cold War.
