Accessing public WiFi with iOS 19 might become a little easier

As the 2025 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) approaches, there are more speculations as to what new features Apple’s iOS 19 will include.

Apple’s latest iOS 19 update may add a feature that would make it more convenient to connect to WiFi.

It’s been reported that iOS 19 might allow users to sync public WiFi login details with their multiple Apple devices that are connected to the same Apple ID.

When it comes to public WiFi, users have to go through additional steps via a captive portal when they try to connect in a hotel, airport, or office.

Users are required to share personal details before accessing the internet. This process is the same for each of their Apple devices.

The latest feature in iOS 19 could make this process simpler, as it would link captive WiFi details from a user’s iPhone to their other Apple devices, such as an iPad or a Mac, according to Bloomberg.

The operating system is also expected to include design changes, such as round or “squircle” icons. With iOS 19, AirPods users will be able to turn their devices into live translators and use an updated Health app with an AI-powered health coach.

This year, the company plans its WWDC to take place from June 9th to 13th, when it will reveal its latest tools and features.
