Apple Watch Hermès is a limited-edition smartwatch with special bands and watch faces. While the company didn’t address the cause of the issue, Tech Radar suggests it could be related to how these special features interact with watchOS 26 beta 2.

While the Apple Developer page notes that the update causes the smartwatch to crash, Apple Insider reported that some users reported that their Apple Watch tends to overheat and can’t be charged or paired.

The watchOS 26 brings new features to the Apple wearable, including Liquid Glass interface, interactive AI-powered Workout Buddy, and updates to a number of popular Apple apps.
