Samsung teases its Galaxy Z Fold 7 series design

Samsung has provided a glimpse of its future foldable series, the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 smartphone is expected to be released during Samsung’s Unpacked event, which will be held around July 10th.
The company provided users with a short teaser that shows Samsung’s future smartphone. The video revealed the design of the gadget series, focusing on its thickness. It claims that it will be “the thinnest, lightest and most advanced foldable yet – meticulously crafted and built to last.”
The short teaser also gives a glimpse at how thin the foldable is. While Samsung hasn’t shared the dimensions of the smartphone, it’s expected that the future smartphone will be thinner than the previous model, Galaxy Z Fold 6, which, when closed, measures 6.04 x 2.68 x 0.48 inches and 6.04 x 5.22 x 0.22 inches when open.
While Samsung boasts how thin its devices are, common smartphone measurements range from 4.7 inches to 6.5 inches or larger.
In the release, the company shared that its engineers and designers are aiming to refine “each generation of the Galaxy Z series to be thinner, lighter and more durable than the last” so that it is not only easy to use but also easy to carry around.
When it comes to the smartphone’s specifications, it’s been reported by 91mobiles that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
Among other speculations, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 could include a 200MP primary camera.
Samsung’s latest smartphone could run on Android 16-based One UI 8, which is now available as a beta program for Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphones.
We may also see a 4,272mAh battery.
It was previously reported that the company might expand its foldable device series with a trifold smartphone.
