According to Nintendo’s latest financial results, the Japanese gaming company sold over 5.82 million copies of the Nintendo Switch 2 during the first quarter following its launch on June 5th, 2025.
During the second quarter, performance remained strong with the sale of an extra 4.54 million units. Cumulatively, Nintendo has sold well over 10.36 million units through the end of September. The original Nintendo Switch hardware sold a total of 1.89 million units.
Over the past three months, Nintendo earned nearly ¥1.1 trillion in revenue from selling Switch 1 and 2 gaming consoles combined, which is equivalent to approximately €6.2 billion.
