Did Justin Bieber really sing that song about Diddy?

Sean “Diddy” Combs has been charged, and an old single allegedly created by Justin Bieber referencing a “Diddy party” has gone viral. However, the song was most likely generated using artificial intelligence.

The artist in the untitled song sounds eerily similar to Bieber as the individual talks about losing himself at a Diddy party.

“I didn’t know that’s how it’d go. I was just in it for a new Ferrari. But it cost me way more than my soul,” the lyrics read.

Since the formal accusations against Diddy, allegations and rumors have circulated across various media platforms, one being that Diddy sexually abused Bieber when he was just a teenager.

Bieber and Diddy supposedly hung out when Bieber was just 15 years old – Diddy was 40.

On Bieber's YouTube channel, there’s a video titled ‘Justin Bieber’s 48 Hours with Diddy!!' In it, the pair can be seen admiring one of Diddy’s cars. While filming, the rapper says that they’re hanging out, but what they’re doing, they “can’t really disclose.”

Diddy has since been charged with various crimes, including sex trafficking, racketeering, conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution – all of which he’s denied. Bieber is reportedly disturbed by Diddy's indictment.

The song initially circulated in April and has since been used in 4,500 TikTok videos.

However, experts say the song has most likely been generated using AI. When the news outlet ran the song through AI detection tools, it indicated that some of the song’s elements were artificially generated.

When CBS spoke to experts from different AI companies specializing in AI detection software, they agreed that the song was most likely generated using AI.

In a conversation with CBS, Stephen Stahl, co-founder of Ai-SPY, an AI audio detection tool, said that someone most likely wrote the lyrics, created a melody, and then uploaded it to a website that allows users to clone Bieber’s voice.
