Garmin Connect has suffered a major outage, leaving hundreds of thousands of users worldwide without access.

When the chief editor of Cybernews pulled out her phone to show me some statistics from her Garmin Connect app, we were shocked at what we saw.

The Garmin Connect app, the online tool that allows users to track their workouts and log their statistics, has suffered a major outage.

Despite Garmin Connects lack of connection, Garmin watches work independently from the app, meaning this shouldn’t impact your ability to use your device.

However, the stats related to your session may not be logged, and challenges may be disrupted as the activity uploads and challenges features are down.

Garmin users have begun ranting on X, demonstrating their fury surrounding the outage.

One user writes, “No way, I’ve just finished a ten-mile run, and Garmin is having an outage omfg.”

Another user said that they suspect Garmin has been hacked again.

Users from all over the world seem to be experiencing the outage, as reported on DownDector, a website that shows live outages, shows that Australia, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and many other countries have been impacted.

This outage couldn’t have come at a worse time, as Garmin has recently released its latest watch, the Garmin Instinct 3.
