iPhone and iPad users in Europe will get Apple Intelligence after all.
Apple has confirmed that its AI tool will also be available in the EU for iPhone and iPad users. The company shared that Apple Intelligence should arrive in April of 2025.
Previously, Apple warned that its AI features wouldn’t be available in the EU during the launch due to the Digital Markets Act and its antitrust legislation.
Apple shared that its AI tool will be available in more languages, including French, German, Italian, and more.
With Apple Intelligence, European users will have access to features like Writing Tools, Genmoji, updated Siri, ChatGPT integration, and more.
Those with a Mac in the EU can already access Apple Intelligence through the latest software update, macOS Sequoia 15.1. However, their settings must be configured to US English.
Apple’s long-awaited AI feature is only available for its latest iPhones, which include iPhone 16 models, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Apple Intelligence is also supported on iPads with A17 Pro or M1 or later and Macs with M1 and later.
