The company has issued an update to the app, introducing a feature that detects and blocks apps that spam users with ad notifications.

X user @Kailash shared that he already received the update.

The added screenshots reveal that “apps that send frequent advertisement alerts will be put in deep sleep to prevent them from bothering you.”

Users will also be able to check which apps are spamming them with ads.

The screenshot also revealed that the feature includes “Intelligent blocking,” which enables analyzing alerts to determine whether they’re ads and blocking them.

Nevertheless, Samsung notes that this determination isn’t always accurate.

The original poster also shared that he used the feature on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, with one user noting that “this function has existed since S26 came out.”

This year, Samsung released new phones in both budget-friendly and flagship tiers.

When it comes to new features, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra comes equipped with a built-in privacy screen.

However, the feature soon sparked a debate online, since some users found it hard to use since it strained their eyes.

Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy A series smartphones focus on features tailored for simpler and safer use.

Among these features are Easy Mode, making it easier to see and navigate the device, and Auto Blocker, which blocks suspicious activity from unauthorized sources.
