Šarūnas Karbauskas

My name is Šarūnas, and I’ve been writing about VPNs and online privacy for around three years. I graduated from Kaunas University of Technology with a Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia technologies.

I began my career in tech as a marketing expert at Nord Security in 2019. After that, I moved on to writing in 2021 for publications like VPNpro and CoolTechZone, occasionally contributing to Cybernews before committing full-time to this site in 2023. During that time, I wrote many articles about VPNs and other cybersecurity software, such as password managers and antivirus services. I also had to adapt to the ever-changing cybersecurity landscape and adjust our internal workflow accordingly.

Currently, I’m focusing on VPNs and their various applications to have a deeper understanding of them. I am mainly interested in online anonymity and privacy but I occasionally delve into streaming and gaming topics because I like the entertainment possibilities that VPNs unlock.
