The battle against misinformation

  • Misinformation: pertains to the spreading of false or inaccurate information, regardless of any intent to deceive. In other words, it can be unintentional and propagated by those who do not verify its accuracy.
  • Disinformation: is the dissemination of false information that is designed to mislead. This is commonly associated with propaganda.
