The first-ever color Kindle should reach users by the end of October.
Amazon has introduced a new lineup of Kindle devices, including a redesigned Kindle Scribe, the fastest Kindle – the Kindle Paperwhite, and a new entry-level Kindle in green Matcha.
But the showstopper of the lineup is the Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition, the first-ever Kindle e-reader in color.
According to the company, the latest e-reader provides high contrast and fast page turns. It’s also equipped with an auto-adjusting front light and a battery life that can last weeks.
Readers will be able to see photos and images in color and mark important parts of the text using different highlights.
The Colorsoft display enhances colors and increases brightness without showing a pixelated or washed-out view.
The waterproof e-reader has a wireless charger and can maintain up to eight weeks of battery life.
The latest Kindle device is priced at $280 and is now available for pre-order with shipping starting on October 30th.
All Kindle e-readers come with an included 3-month Kindle Unlimited subscription.
