Apple working on MacBook with dynamic trackpad, patent shows

Apple has patented a trackpad idea that could revolutionize its MacBook.

Apple has recently issued a patent that changes how the trackpads on its Mac laptops work. It would be equipped with a dynamic display interface next to a keyboard.

On a regular laptop, the trackpad is placed below the keyboard, positioned in the middle of the user’s hands.

In its patent, Apple suggests the re-newed device would have “a touch-sensitive cover and a display that produces dynamic graphical output and may extend over the palm rest region of a keyboard.”

In this case, the laptop’s base, which includes the keyboard, could also have one or two displays that can be managed by touch.

These displays can change in size and shape and provide a user with different trackpad regions, which help them control different types of applications and programs on their laptop.

This way, the trackpad adapts to different applications and programs on the MacBook, for example, when a user uses a Word application or is playing a game.

The new trackpad display would also provide more information. For example, other types of data could be shown on the main screen, as the user would be able to see various program icons on the keyboard-trackpad display.

Although it’s not clear whether Apple will implement these changes to its future MacBooks, it would be a major update since the MacBook’s faulty keyboard situation is still relevant today.
